It is often presumed that mobile body repair refers exclusively to mobile SMART repairs. These are the more basic repairs that have for years been able to be completed on the road, we do offer this service, but we believe there is a bigger challenge that needs resolving.

We’ve accepted the challenge of resolving some of the biggest frustrations in the repair market today – primarily the time it takes from a car being in an accident to being fully repaired, with repair times increasing in body shops and no sign of improvement.

This is why we’ve invested heavily in the infrastructure, technology and training multi-skilled mobile accident repair technicians who can do a large proportion of work that traditionally could only be done in a physical body shop. This work is far more complicated and sophisticated and more often than not requires multiple parts, but we have built our service from the ground-up specifically to deal with these challenges.

This investment in our back office, the technology we use, our mobile equipment and our people enables us to provide faster and more accurate quoting, a faster job turn around time, same day job completion and a seamless process of tracking repairs from start to finish.

Our service is designed to be tick all the boxes when it comes to business and insurance work. From a seamless, well-tracked process, evidenced photos, approved quotes and appropriate integrations with repair method providers, estimatics and all the necessary accreditations.

SMART Repair

Panel beating and scratch repair are dying arts, but these skills have never been more valuable, and we bring them into the modern day with state-of-the-art specialist equipment. For dented or damaged paintwork, our specialist will sand, respray, re-lacquer and then polish to ensure a good as new finish is delivered.

Our investment in the latest equipment and our multi-skilled technicians allow us to take on the vast majority of work that would typically be completed in a body shop, but without the hassle.

The only body repair work that we can not do has bonnet or roof damage, or requires the vehicle to be lifted onto a ramp.

We can repair more significant and larger types of damage to multiple panels. We can replace damaged pars and pull out dents with specialist equipment.

We can undertake 90% of repair work to panels that have dents and damaged paintwork.

  • 01 Are you servicing my area?
    On top of covering London, we’ve now launched in Bristol, Bath and Manchester as well!
  • 02 Can I cancel a body repair service? Will I get charged?
    We understand that schedules change and you may need to change the time of a body repair. If you cancel the booking, you will lose your 10% deposit. If you cancel within 24 hours of the scheduled time, we will charge 50% of the booking price. Cancellations within 12 hours of the booking time will be charged at 100%. If you move a repair 24 hours before the due date to another time (within 30 days) and do not cancel, you will be charged a 10% fee. Changing the time 12 hours before a booking will result in a 50% fee. The reason, your body repair specialist will have booked out time for you and your vehicle in their working day and they need to make a living.
  • 03 Can I leave you with my car or do I have to be in the whole time?
    Yes, of course you can leave us with your car. If it’s an outside only, we don’t require the keys unless you specifically want the door sills done, we can normally just find your car and crack on without disturbing you. For our services involving the inside being cleaned, if you don’t have keyless entry then we will need the keys. We can grab them off from someone you trust or somewhere you’ve left them for us (whether that’s with reception or a safe hiding spot). We can then post them through your letterbox or return them to a neighbour or reception. Just let our operative know by leaving a comment in the booking notes, which you can edit during the booking process. We do ask that you are available to contact at the booking time in case we can’t find your car!
  • 04 Do you work with businesses?
    Yes we do. Businesses should contact us on B2B@dropless.co.uk to discuss special rates for business accounts. Whether you want your fleet of sales cars looking perfect or you simply want to put a smile on your employee’s faces with a weekly car clean, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
  • 05 How does Dropless support/promote environmental safety?
    Dropless prides itself on its eco-friendly and sustainable methods. Our eco-friendly nano solutions help us save over 150L of water per wash compared to your standard car wash! As well as this we also use electric vehicles as a form of transport for our operatives! We believe that we are ambassadors for environmental safety and as such we only use water to dilute our products which are not harmful to the environment.

  • 07 How much space do you need around the car?
    We’re good at working in tight spaces but obviously there are limitations. We ask that you leave a minimum of 1.5 feet on all sides of the car to give our operative space to access the car.
